At the end of our hike, we happened upon this adorable witch!

 We then stopped en route home to Heimdal at this adorable picnic hut on a small tjonne: Kviknedølstjønna

For dinner Solfrid made a most wonderful Thai Suppe
(Trine Sandberg Cookbook)
and ice cream with wild cloud berries, harvested in the mountains. 

Geir left for the Robbie Williams concert at the nearby ski lift (30,000 tickets sold). Norwegians tend to stand for the entire concert - no chairs or picnic blankets!

As a fond farewell, we were treated to typical Norwegian weather (read: always changing!) from balmy to thunderstorm with "wet" rain - as in downpour soaking.
