On the road again - Sweden

Tuesday, 8 August 
With Ned at the wheel and Lena navigating the Swedish road signs, we left Båleröd at 12:30.
After driving one+ hour, we stopped at a delightful roadside eatery.


The airport, where we would say goodbye to Lena and catch the Flygbussen back to downtown Göteborg where we would be staying, is at the far end of the city. We (rather, Ned) drove through Göteborg easily, as we had beat the workday traffic.


The western coast of Sweden is marked by granite that is typically covered in lichen and mosses. It is very pretty, much more gentle and therefore not nearly as dramatic as Norway.
