Swedish Delights
The Swedes do love their sweets! You can buy sweets by the scoopful, bagful, bucketful...
At the bakery in Strömstad, Lena insisted on purchasing Swedish Princess Cake and Budapest.
Also fascinating are the "tube foods" that we found in the grocery store.
One thing we learned about that we unfortunately cannot purchase in USA are "fonds" which are a broth concentrate. They come in a jar and are delightful in cooking, especially to add flavor depth to soups and sauces!
