Off the Tourist Trail at Lena's

Sunday 7 August ~ Oslo -> Halden -> Stömstad -> Båleröd

We arrived the Oslosentralstasjon early, as we knew the logistics might be a bit tricky due to rail construction. We were directed to a lovely bus that transported us from Oslo to Drommand where we could catch the train to continue on to Halden. Halden is still in Norway and is where we had to then catch a local bus to travel to Strömstad, near to where Lena's family beach house is in Båleröd.

Once we figured out the bus schedule, we caught the local 111 bus to Strömstad, Sweden. While only 38 kms, it took one hour b/c of all the stops. Lena picked us up, and we went to the Starkman family beach house in Båleröd.
