Concert - last night in Firenze

Saturday 19 August ~ Last night in Florence
This was my marker. Concert program included:

  • Pachebel's Canon
  • JS Bach's Air
  • Mozart's A Little Night Music
  • Vivaldi's The Four Seasons

Performed by the 9-member Orchestra da Camera Forentina, it took place in the auditorium of Chiasa di San Stefano.  The Chiasa di San Stefano is in a quiet and intimate piazza, tucked away from the bustling crowds on the Ponte Vecchio. It also is around the corner from the a marvelous science museum (next visit!), featuring the machines of Leonardo Da Vinci.

A wonderful ending to a wonderful visit to a wonderful city!
P.S. On the way back to Piazza della Republica, we did stop for our nightly gelato...
