Weinhaus Lubberich

Monday 14 August ~ Weinhaus Lubberich 

Harald, Emmy Lou (yes, the black lab is named after Emmy Lou Harris) and I took an early morning walk (Wir machen einen Spaziergang - nicht eine Wanderung) - a casual stroll, not a vigorous hike.


The Lubberich property includes a forest and a public access walking trail.


 There is also a Weinberghaus, circa 1700s. The now-forest used to be a vineyard, grapes giving way to timber. Buchholz - the ubiquitous name of many villages in this area - means beechnut tree.
